Voice commerce means making a purchase using your voice. Today it is closely tied to Google Assistant, which has been available in Poland since January 2019.
Google created a dedicated platform, „Actions on Google", for companies that want to start using voice commands. It lets brands build an action - a voice command - through which users can interact with the company in just a few words.
How does voice commerce affect e-commerce?
Forecasts put smart speakers in as many as 75% of American households by 2025. Voice shopping therefore carries significant potential, as users pay ever more attention to convenience and simplicity when browsing and buying.
In Poland you can already order food through Pyszne.pl or buy a Flixbus ticket using a voice assistant.
So it is worth asking whether it is time to prepare voice shopping for your own online store.
