Accessibility statement

Compliance status

The www.upit.com.pl website has been designed and built with the WCAG 2.2 level AA guidelines in mind. This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by the team building the site, covering a code review, keyboard navigation tests, contrast verification and checks at increased zoom levels.

We treat accessibility as a process, not a one-off implementation. If you come across a barrier we have missed, write to us - every report genuinely changes this site.

Accessibility features in place

• full keyboard operation with a clearly visible indication of the focused element;
• a „Skip to content" link that lets you bypass the navigation;
• an accessibility panel: larger text, higher contrast, underlined links, increased text spacing and stopped animations - settings are remembered in the browser;
• respect for the system-level reduced-motion setting;
• alternative descriptions for images that carry meaning;
• a logical heading structure and correctly labelled forms and buttons;
• a responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops;
• no flashing content and no automatically playing audio.

Keyboard shortcuts

The site does not introduce custom keyboard shortcuts that could conflict with assistive technologies. Navigation uses standard browser keys: Tab and Shift + Tab to move between elements, Enter or Space to activate, and Esc to close the accessibility panel.

Elements that are inaccessible or being improved

• graphic materials provided by third parties may lack complete alternative descriptions - we are adding them as we go;
• files published before the current version of the site may not meet all accessibility requirements; on request we provide their content in an accessible form.

Physical accessibility

The UPIT Sp. z o.o. office is located in Kraków at ul. Ojcowska 145. We also hold meetings online and, if needed, arrange a meeting place adjusted to the needs of a person with specific requirements - a phone call or an e-mail in advance is enough.
